Can there be a flawless mercy without justice?

Can there be a flawless justice without mercy?

Mercy cannot rule alone, for the selfishness in us would demand more

Nor can justice by itself be THE ruler, for the selfishness in us would rebel

It’s only with the perfect balance between justice and mercy

That we can ever hope to experience… flawless Love

Thus, it’s only flawless Love that can hold a gavel

And THAT gavel in in the hand of God
